2026 Key Policy Priorities:

HB1621 HD1 – Soil Health & Conservation Agriculture
Creates incentives for farmers to adopt conservation agriculture and soil-health practices, supporting climate mitigation while strengthening local agriculture.


HB1779 HD1 – Free School Meals Expansion

Expands free school meals to all public school students, including charter schools, regardless of income status

HB2208 HD1 – Hawaiʻi Farm to Families Program

​Funds grants to food banks and partners to distribute locally grown food to families facing food insecurity.

SB2718 SD1 – Food Hub Pilot Program

Provides funding for food hubs that help move locally grown food from farmers to communities.
