2024-25 Priorities:

💰 HB 976 & SB 995 – SAF Tax Credit (Sustainable Aviation Fuel)

Flying is essential in Hawai‘i, but it also creates a lot of carbon emissions. ✈️ This bill offers tax credits to support Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)—a cleaner alternative to traditional jet fuel. Less pollution, same flights! 🌎🌱

🔥 SB 1220 & HB 342 – “Renewable Gas” Tariff

Hawai‘i is working to move away from fossil fuels, and this bill sets up rules for renewable gas—like biogas from organic waste. ♻️🔥 This helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and transition to a cleaner energy future.

🚌 SB 586 – Zero-Emission Buses by 2045

Imagine a Hawai‘i where all public buses are electric or hydrogen-powered! ⚡🚍 This bill commits to phasing out diesel buses and replacing them with clean, zero-emission buses by 2045. That means cleaner air and quieter streets! 🌿

☀️🚗 HB 243 – Solar & EV-Ready Homes

More people want solar panels and electric cars, but many homes aren’t built for them. This bill ensures new homes are ready for solar panels and EV chargers from the start—making it easier and cheaper for residents to go green. 🏡🔋

These bills move Hawai‘i closer to 100% clean energy and a sustainable future. Want to help? Support policies that power a greener tomorrow! 🌞💡
